Default (Also posted in 993) Daytime Running Lights - Help!

I had searched through the archives and found info on activating daytime running lights in a 993 to meet Canadian standards. I purchased the relay that was listed in the thread - the part just arrived and I went out to my car to plug it into R63 as per the instructions. To my disappointment, behind the plastic plate covering R63...there was just a blank hole!

Any other options to easily activate daytime running lights (fog lights). Also, I have the R63 Relay for sale

It's actually a reflection of me in the hood of the car. I took it on the trip back from Philly after picking up the car last week.

I'll see if I can do better. Maybe a shot of my daytime running lights ;-)

you need to splice and connect wires manually.
DRL 's were not available to US cars. my R63 is the same...not connected.
if you wire them up will RIV accept your compliance letter? there was a thread a few days ago that said if you import you must pay $3500 to Porsche Canada for compliance letter and they will only issue this if they do the DRL and french stickers.
good luck and keep us posted.
also we do require pictures of your car and not just a reflection in the hood

Here you go... give Jack a call and get a DRL quote, that's where I went.
