My friend Shaun does top-quality plating and coating. He's in Boston, so you'll have to ship it, but it might be worth the cost. He also sorts and catalogues all the parts, right down to every nut and washer. I've been to the shop - excellent operation.

These guys do aircraft fasteners too, I know of someone using this shop to plate automotive fasteners on a car they are restoring, very good quality.

Well active/Bristol called and said they can't do the job as its too much work for them.
Just bolts, engine hooks, a pulley and the throttle linkage mount. Not sure why that is hard, but will be happy to go somewhere else.

I'm going to build my own electro plater but will just be for nuts and bolts Easy enough to make one for bigger stuff though. Just need a bucket , a fryer basket ( round) a battery and some kind of agitator motor to turn the basket.
Plus the kit.

Clive, the green bin with the wheels for the organic garbage would work. I used mine a few years ago so set up a rust removing electrolysis contraption.

What you going to do with the left over chemicals from the home-brew cadmium plating setup?
I work for a company that has an entire department dedicated to specialized surface finishing, waste water treatment and environmental regulations are very big for any commercial operation.
