OK. Not sloppy. How about agricultural?
I will admit that the 915s I have driven have been probably average at best. But the experiences convinced me to look for a G50. It is more precise but only in relative terms. Both trannys reward precision over speed. The new cars - well, they're just too easy - granny shifters. And the clutch? C'mon. A 911 is supposed to have a man's man clutch.
There. That should stir just about everybody up.

Hee hee, yeah, I remember when spring would come, my left knee would be sore for two weeks while I condition it on that clutch!
And yeah, I was porscheless for a bunch of years between my SC and my 996. This car is just SO effortless.......

A short shift kit is a great feature to have on your Porsche. But beware, if you are a hard driving type, your gears and syncros could prematurely wear out. The original design from the factory allows enough time for everything to mesh.
You are better to spend the extra money and purchase the GT3 super cup shift cables from Porcshe Motorsports or TRG because they eliminate all the rubber connections for more precise shifting.
