Hmmmm I am not sure why people keep calling this a crazy deal. The seller posted the build sheet in another thread and it was $103k MSRP. That makes this $6-7k over MSRP with 20,000+km on it. By comparison, there are cars sitting on dealer lots across Canada at (albeit higher spec) MSRP.
Factor in the FX and yes it's a good deal for an American. But the same could be said for a lot of the other cars sitting in Canada at MSRP. If this had truly been a crazy deal, it would have been snatched up - the market doesn't lie.
Regardless, sounds like this car went back to the dealer on trade so really isn't much of a discussion point now.

You're right about msrp but it was still the lowest priced GT4 in Canada with the right mods to boot for the track enthusiast. Had a lot of action and the only reason why it went back to dealer was because I was in a hurry to get my new car and that the difference between what I was asking and what the dealer was giving me wasn't that crazy to begin with, which is a good tell about the Canadian market for those cars.

New Sparco Evo racing seat - complete bolt in kit
Hey guys,
I purchased this seat & hardware five days ago (July 13th 2018) brand new - will provide receipt to buyer for warranty. I installed this in my 2008 911 Turbo to use at the track, but my plans for the track have just changed so I no longer require this seat setup. This seat comes from Sparco in 4 sizes: Evo I, Evo II, Evo II USA and Evo III. This is the smallest Evo I version, and is suitable for drivers with a 34" waist or smaller.
This is ready to bolt in to any 996/987/987.2/997.1/997.2 (possibly 991 as well, buyer to confirm) Porsche on the driver's side (different seat base and seat belt buckle required for passenger side installation). The sale includes the Sparco Evo lightweight seat, Sparco sliders, Sparco side mounts, Sparco seat base and OEM Porsche GT2 extended seat belt buckle.
This is a complete kit with all hardware right down to the longer OEM Porsche seat belt buckle, and will drop in to any Porsche driver's side in 10 minutes with no extra parts or modifications required.
Everything is virtually brand new, and I still have the packaging for the Sparco seat. I paid $1,667 for everything, which I will provide the invoice to the buyer. Offering at $1,200.00 for a quick sale. I can meet anywhere in the GTA to deliver.
Cheers,
Chris
EDIT: Deposit received, pending pickup and final payment next week. Will update post if for any reason the sale falls through. Thanks RL!

I have the DSC in my 997.1TT (newer 2 mode version) and you cannot describe how good this little box is. It completely transforms the car, for both street driving and at the track. I tell everyone I can with a 997.1TT, buy the DSC controller you'll never regret it. At $1500 CAD that's a good price considering they're $1100 USD new plus FX plus shipping plus tax. They don't wear out after all. Good luck with your sale.

Is this the older 3-mode version, or the newer 2-mode version?

It did completely transform the car. And that's with using the default setting. With more tweak I think it could be even better. New from TPC is $1190 USD + shipping + brokerage + taxes and currency exchange, it's over $1900 CAD. Thanks cstyles.

1975 Corvette F/S
Hate to do this, but I am parting with my 1975 Stingray Vert. This car is beyond nice, and it is the "Perfect Vintage Corvette" in that it has been beautifully and correctly restored, AND it can be driven all day all summer long. I have tons of documentation on this car - too much to list here - but if you have been shopping for a C3 and are put off by the poor condition many of these older cars are in, you will have found the car to buy in looking at this one. It needs NOTHING; the paint is excellent and the Classic White is the original paint of this car - no colour change ever. If you have priced paint jobs for these cars you will know $10 to $15 k is not uncommon. With this car the cost is $0 as the paint is a 9+. Modern polished aluminum 18-inch wheels with Pirelli Cintuarto P7 tires (runflats).
The underside of the car is a joy to see - clean, correct with all proper fasteners and parts - all accounted for - no Bubba treatment on this car. The engine has been redone with Dart Eagle heads, TRW pistons and a comp cam - it has full dual exhaust and sounds fantastic - makes approx 325 HP
. As you can see by the pics, the engine bay is a delight with tons of chrome and all correct parts. I have the car on a lift where it can be inspected (in the GTA).
Come and see what a properly restored C3 looks like, buy it and enjoy it without having to spend tons of money and time getting "it right" - because this car is already there. Comes with service and assembly manuals as well as a bunch of other documentation.
Asking $27,900. You can spend less on a C3, but in the long run, this is an excellent deal...
