Street Racing/Stunt Driving - Did you know?
I just received my licence renewal form and included with it was an update to the street raciing/stunt driving law:
- The fine now has a maximum fine of $10k (I think we all knew this already)
- You can't drive on public roads with Nitrous attached (probably does not apply to anyone here)
- If you are convicted of Street Racing/Stunt Driving within 10 years of your first conviction, the courts have been givin the power to impose a drivers licence suspension of up to 10 year. (This I didn't know)
That last one is really scary and just shows you how important it is that you don't get convicted or if you do, that you do your best to get the charges dropped.

I never thought I would say this but.....I am happy that I am moving to Manitoba shortly.
Oh, other thing that has recently pissed me off. LCBO has dictated to the beer store that no case of beer can be sold for less than $28. Hmmm, I wonder where all that extra money is going. This province is ridiculous with all it's hidden tax schemes.

While I supposed technically the same beer is available, why in god's name would you not take advantage of your proximity to Quebec and pick up some of the wonderful craft brews that aren't available in Ontario?! Quebec beer may be the one thing I miss most about living in Montreal!
No wait, it's the girls. No, it's the culture. No, it's supersex. No wait, it's the people. Maybe it is the beer...

Can you get griffin red in Ontario? I've only ever seen it in Quebec (was in gatineau last week) and its fantastic.

The only ones available in Ontario are those brewed by Unibroue, which was recently bought out by Molson, or Labatts or someone which, while good, are only a sampling. Griffon is brewed by McAuslan, which is sold in Ontario, so should be available here, but I don't think I've ever seen it. I do wish we could get Boreale here, even though it's the Labatt Blue of Quebec. Just shows how much taste the Quebecois have in beer!
