Default winter storage

Well, it looks like my place for winter storage might have fallen through, so if anyone knows of a place in west GTA/Hamilton please let me know. I need heated and access, as I'll be pulling the engine - I won't be working on the car there (aside from removal/replacement of engine) but I'll need access those 2 days.

Thanks!

Best thing I can find is this shop. Probably too far away from you.

That is a cool concept. Not just storage but providing a shop and lifts to actually do your winter projects. Seems brilliant to me and pretty reasonably priced as well.

Christien, Arnoud just made a post on the UCR web site saying that Refined Motorsport moved to Evans Avenue in Etobicoke and has space for storage. Check his post on the UCR site for details.

Just called him, won't really work because I need to pull the engine and he's got too many cars in there for me to get to mine and work on it safely.

Why are you pulling the engine again Christien ? are you tacking those oil leaks ? I thought it was intentionally so no one could see you through the smoke at the track ! :-0

I think Ernie at Mantis in Oakville has some spots/room 905-844-6219 or ernie@mantisracing.com

I decided to store it here, in a carbag. It was tough convincing my wife, because we only have a 1 1/2 car garage - we stored the 911 here one year and it was incredibly tight. I'll be temporarily dismantling the workbench (which is a plus actually because it'll force me to put all my **** away!) and I'll buy a set of vehicle dollies, so I can move the car right over to the wall, and get it out easily enough.

Yes, I'm pulling the engine to finally clear up the tranny leak and as many of the engine oil leaks as I'm able to. And yes, if you want, I can post pics!

I know a spot in Fenwick which isn't too far from Hamilton if you're on the Mountain. It is an old chicken barn that has a concrete floor but not heated. Let me know it is cheap.
