I just got a great idea! I'm going to race myself on the 401 and get caught with both cars so I can maybe get some new tires or something. All I need is another driver. For some reason my wife doesn't want to participate.
She drives standard too, it would make for a good run cause she's terrified of the Porsche. I'd stick her in that and for sure beat her hands down. I think that's the only way my TR will kick my 930's ***.

Any tips and pointers BGregovsky?

The deal keeps getting better and better. You have almost broken even. Good thing the vandals didn't key your car. Tires are a pretty easy fix. Did you conduct a detailed inspection?

As Dan said... I'd demand the other side to be replaced too. There's not really much the guy can say.. He should have had tighter security.

The worst they could say is no. They didn't pay out of their pockets anyway, their insurance company did. Zook, get a letter from a professional tire place or the dealership stating how dangerous it is to drive a car like this and then go to the impound lot and tell them to give this to their insurance company and demand the other side gets replaced.

Zook will be the only person in Ontario that actually benefits from our wonderful street racing law.

I also would check very carefully the lip on the wheels. many shops have difficulty with 18" wheels and wreck the lip...also I wouldn't be suprised if tow companyies don't use the best tire intstallers. Hopefully cause you have mutual friends he took it to a good shop.

Well, he is out the initial $800.00 they charged him to tow and impound the car. The two new tires almost brought him to even.

Default Hey Zookie...

I would check the whole side of your car. It sounds a little fishy to me.

With mismatched tires, your car should now be pulling on to one side.
Go back to them and ask for the matching tires + alignment.

Their insurance should easily do it.

If the tire has even wear, he won't notice the difference. Only if the tire wear unevenly will it start to pull.

They probalby thought that the Porsche was the owner's car and thats why they sliced it.
