Dunnville lapping
A bunch of us rennlisters spent a few hours at Dunnville on a cold day last fall and had a blast, even though James broke his throttle cable and I finally did my 915 in. So let's do it again! Hopefully with no casualties this time Here are the remaining lapping days, at least the ones I'm available for:
Sat. Oct. 5 10am-4pm
Fri. Oct. 10 9am-5pm
Fri. Oct. 24 9am-5pm
Sat. Oct. 25 9am-5pm (I believe this is a DE, not just lapping)
Sat. Nov. 8 9am-5pm (also DE)
So my first choice is Sat. Oct. 5. How does that suit everyone's calendar?
If none of these work, or we want to do a 2nd day, I don't mind organizing one.
If you've never been to Dunnville, it's a flat technical track, like the Mosport DDC. It has 11 turns and the line can be learned in about half an hour. IMO it has a better rhythm than TMP, and there's absolutely nothing to hit (no walls at all, and at least 3-400m of runoff room on all sides), so it's a great track to really push your car. Which also makes it a kick-*** track for driving in the rain, and that's coming from someone who HATES driving Mosport in the rain. It's also an absolutely gorgeous drive to and from the track, if you take the back roads. Much of the route runs along the Grand River which is beautiful, especially in the autumn.
Lots of info, track map, video, etc here:

How much is it? I wouldn't be able to get there until about noon, but if the price is right I might come.
The schedule says "Bill Brack Friday club" - not sure what that is. Is it open track lapping? Or more of a DE?

If it is indeed Sunday the 5th I would love to go... I *NEED* to drive my car this year...
Pick a day and I will do my best to show up... Work owes me a day off after the BS last week!

It is indeed Sunday the 5th, 10am-4pm, $90 in advance, $100 after Oct. 1. I just sent the guy an email to make sure there were still a few spots available.

Yep, still spots available. So who's interested? I'm 99%, basically just waiting to make sure I'll have some rennlist company Though even if not, I'll probably still go.

Ok, got another email from Mark, the guy running it. Open lapping, full track, clockwise, which is the standard. He said they might do counter-clockwise for the last hour if people want to. I think that'd be fun! (I've driven Mosport backwards in a sim game, and it's a completely different track.)
He sent me his account info for pre-paying, or you can do email money transfers. Either pm me for a copy of his email with account info (I'm not going to post it here, obviously!) or go to markstrackdays.com for his email address/phone # if you want to get in touch with him yourself.
I just noticed that his website says 1-7pm, whereas the dunnville site said 10am-4pm. I'll get that cleared up, though I'm pretty sure it's 10am-4pm, as he's got postings in all sorts of forums advertising the day, saying 10-4. I'm also seeing references to a free bbq, which is nice! (for those who haven't been, there are no food/drink facilities at Dunnville - you have to go into town, which is about 10 minutes away)
