I'm in the market for my first helmet for Track Days and DEs. Any suggestions on retailers in the GTA where I can try out different brands for fit and finish?

CSC in Newmarket. They carry Bell. Low end to top of the line. Depending on what you want.

I think someone mentioned Mantis Racing in Oakville carried helmets in a previous post. I use them for service, but never really paid attention if they have them in stock at their shop.

They've got a few Simpson helmets there. But not the model I'm looking for. I'm after the Diamondback lid in my avatar. I'm just concerned it might be too heavy. I'd like to take a look at Arai and Bell too.

Contact Fast Eddie Race wear in Stouffville carry Simpson and Impact helmets as well. They share the same showroom as Choko Motorsports and cater mostly to the Canadian NASCAR teams. You could probable stop in on your way to or comming back from CSC in Newmarket but make sure you call to make an appointment before you show up, so you can get someone with product knowledge.
