Default Nice day.

So I've finally made it out to the track this season with a car in (mostly) good condition and running strong. My first time at Mosport with no ABS or stability control, so I tried really hard not to overdo the brakes and just slide straight through some corner in a cloud of white smoke.

I didn't bring my camera, as I planned to just concentrate on driving, however the weather brought out some nice machinery, so crappy iPhone camera just had to come out at lunch.

997 GT3 Cup and Carrera GT. Same owner. Drive CGT to the track, jump into your Cup car that's been fully warmed up for ya, drive the CGT back. Makes me want to work more.

Bad pic, but that's a not-yet-broken in 997 GT2. He pointed me by 'cause I'm clearly awesome!

Various other toys:

My humble beasty:

Had 2 offs at the track, as usual. A Mustang GT500 thing and Z06. Zee germans did not suffer any casualties this time around. Represent!

Who ran this track day? Looks like the best group of cars I've seen at the track in a long time.

Engineered Automotive is a racing/mechanic/all-things-auto shop in Concord that also organizes track days for their customers.

Not that I mind. Seeing and hearing them next to ya on the track is awesome

My best (recorded) time of the day was 1:42.78. I was limiting myself to 200 at the back straight (bad experience with 8 last year is still fresh in my mind). I know I can do 1:41 as I am now, but anything lower will be a new level for me.

Awesome shots. I thought that Ferrari looked familiar. I take my BMW to EA for some Dinan work. They were prepping the Ferrari for a full out track event. That thing is fast! Was Billy at the track?
