It may actually take a few seconds, because it must take two laser hits,
one at point A, another at point B and then calculate the speed.

Also, the two laser emissions suppose to hit the same place in the car (license plate).
This is one of the points that can get you off in court (if you are lucky).

The time between A and B better not be nowhere near laser speed.

The laser gun can pick up a reading in a fraction of a second, but the officer may have to shoot you a few times to get the vehicle's actual speed reading....so it might take a second or two.....but either way, the timeframe is very short to slow your *** down.
