Default Forza - Sebring Race This Morning ... Pics

Well Pete and I (Corvette Forum) went up against Greg and Phil from the Rennlist ... Greg is an amazing driver ... Pete is good too ... Phil and I are another story! But, we're (Phil) getting better!

Here are some pics and commentary from this mornings Sebring Race ... I'm driving the #4 C6.R, Pete is in the #3 C5-R, Greg is in the Porsche GT2 Turbo (I think), and Phil is in the Porsche GT Carrera ...

Starting Grid ...

I did not get a good launch ... here is Pete and Greg battling into the first corner ...

Pete goes alittle wide into this turn ... and I sneek by him on the inside ...

I can see Greg ahead as we round the bend, and head down a short straight away into a tight right turn ... I hit the breaking zone, and get my entrance into the corner all set up perfectly ... then things go bad ...

Yep ... I'm braking! ...

"Hey Pete"

"Ya Mark?"

"Aren't you getting a little too close?"

"Naaaaaa ..."

"Hey Mark!"

"Ya?"

"I just wanted to wish you ..... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!"

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"

"Hey ... Is that my Rear Wing??!!??"

"Yep, I think So"

"Hey Mark ... "

"Ya?..."

"I'm Sure that will just buff out!"

Ah yes, another fun day on Forza2!

Make sure you guys join us next Sunday!

The Carrera GT sucked! Well the stock tires did. It was the slowest car on the grid. Hey Mark, how come you didn't post the 1-2 Porsche wins at Laguna and Sebring??....

Thanks Mark.

Sounds like the same carp.

What type of steering wheel are U guys using. My son has a Logitech Momo with pedals. Can this be adapted or used with the X Box?

Yes the GT is horrible, I managed to keep up with the R2 cars in the curves but they pulled away big time on the straights. The car has terrible handling in the game.

I'm using the Microsoft Force Feedback Steeringwheel ... has the paddle shifters, and pedals ... the headset hooks right in, so you have the ability to chat while playing ... good for saying "Sorry Phil!"

Best Buy $99.00

Phil, sorry about not mentioning the 1-2 Porsche finishes ... yes, you guys were on fire ... as was I, but for you guys, I'm speaking metaphorically, for me ... my car was actually on fire!

I would love to see more guys playing from each forum ... I put up a posting on the NSX site ... so maybe we'll see a couple R4 NSX's on the grid in the future!

I bought my Xbox360 & copy of Forza2 tonight! I'm almost done building my Xbox360 mouth controller but I'm having trouble with the trigger switches. HOPEFULLY by Sunday it'll be done

My Dad & I are coming out to the GTG on Saturday so I'll bring my controller.
