LOL we should be codebusters, so advanced!
Looks like the last day for jezebel to stretch her legs before going to
sleep for the winter. I'm thinking about keeping her at my parents
markham home instead of Autovault. Might be following Clive's winter
checklist verbatim!
BTW Arnaud, I can't get over this 330i. This car is really spoiling me lol!

Does anybody use Autovault for storage? Where are they?
This year I used a friends empty factory but I don't sleep too good knowing it's all alone and frightened.

I am using Autovault this year. Dealer recommended it and they are very helpful. Dumped my RS at the dealer and they picked it up, called to confirm it was at the facility. If its good I will put my other cars there next year. They will have car detailed before it is returned and it will have a trickle charge.

Do people get together even when cars are gone to storage? My cars are gone now...just winter transport..(Smart ForTwo and a Touareg V8..not exactly track material)

Ronan,
Yes we still get together every Saturday during the winter even if people are mostly driving their winter beaters but there are a surprising number of Porsches that will show up especially on the drier days. 90% of the time we grab a table inside though. It's a good opportunity to get out of the house and spend some time talking Porsches with people who are actually interested (as opposed to the long suffering spouses at home). We also did an indoor go kart event on a Saturday and hopefully we'll do some more this year as well; not quite the same as Mosport, but good fun nonetheless.

Hey Phil, since it sounds like people maybe interested I'll see if I can pass by the indoor electric track at lunch time to get some ideas on costs and availability for group events.

I just thought of a good idea for you guys. Have the meet at Ikea. Everyone can enjoy their $1 breakfast and afterwards you can retire to one of the furniture sections to sit down and talk........no?
