haha, thanks a lot for all the supprt guys. It is a bit overwhelming, driving a 944S amongst a bunch of 911's. Can make one feel a little bit insignificant

not really , I would love to see your car , I drove a Diamond Blue 87 944S for 8 years and loved the car, swore I would never sell it ... ... unforunately I loved the 15G the guy gave me for it even more ...

oh y the way I noticed a 944s for sale on laekshore in Burlington . Very rough but thought i would mention it .

1. Seats pulled away
2. Dash Cracks ( major )
3. Body side moulding all torn up on one side
4. Rust on drivers side lower body ( where the dirt collects inder the body lip )
5. looks like rear glass is delaminating at top of hatch.
6. 15" phone dials kinda rough.
Might make a decent track car at the right price

You will not be alone: Jim (the organizer of this escapade) also drives a 944. We (911's) will try to keep up with you on the twisty roads

Hey Jim

looking at the number of views , you are going to have a busy Sunday , better print copies of the route.

Also keep in mind lowville parking lot is Gravel .... and having said that I am not driving behind Jamie in there with all that power on tap.

We should be arriving at Lowville around noon. The TransAm is welcome but starts at the front with own map and those will be available at the start. Here's a link to the break spot.

Be proud, a Porsche is a Porsche no matter what model!
Isn't that correct 911's?

This seems like its going to be a great event I am gonna try my hardest to get the car running at least satisfactory. I was saying in another post that if I make it I will have to bring a video camera so I can catch all the action of my first meet.
