Thanks for all the advice guys. I bit the bullet and bought the car. Got a PPI from my mechanic, everything seems alright! First thing on the clock would be the 96k service though...

Other than that, all is well! The car is pretty well equipped I think, although I can't really tell what equipments were standard or optional... where can I get that information? (it's a 2001..)

what is a 997 boxter? is it boxter or 997?

Open the hood: on the back of it, you will find a white square sticker with the VIN number and other bits of pieces. The bottom part of the sticker is made of sequences of 3 digits. These are your optional equipments. Go to www.kindel.com/porsche/options.asp and enter the 3-digit codes one by one to decode and you will know what factory options the car came with. Other equipments will be standard (unless the precious owner modified and/or added equipment to the car).

Too bad I'm working this Saturday.... hopefully I can make it to the next one! Do you guys have any meets in the North/East end of GTA? (ie. North York, Richmond Hill/Markham)
