I'm looking to import a car from the U.S. into Ontario, who did you use for transport and brokerage?

I have been waiting on a quote from TFX transport out of Toronto for over a week now and still no answer from them.

TIA

just drove it over myself. 15 minutes at the border provided you are prepared.

Hate to be a bothe, but could you please outline the prep for me.

I have done some research but would like to know frome someone with first hand experience.

I heard you need to provide customs with the original title 3 days prior to import? How did you get the title before you had the car or did you pay in full before going to pick up the car. Also how were you able to drive it without having it registered yet? both in the u.s and once you crossed the border?

Thanks, David

I used Hansen's here in Toronto for the shipping and Livingston's for the brokerage.
It went quite smooth

Default I agree about using TFX

I'm having a 1997 993 cab brought in by them next week. Have had nothing but good relations with them,,, very prompt. Speak to Jacqui... I mentioned to her that you had not had a reply..she was very shocked to hear this.
They are a one stop shop.
Hope this doesn't come out as a commercial for them!

I have never actually used TFX. But they gave me shipping quotes very promptly for various locations in the US and even Canada. They seem very knowlegeable.
