APRIL 14th DUNVILLE TRACK SESSION CONFIRMATION THREAD
Whose comming. April 14th starting @ 2PM at dunville.
Priority of spaces goes to the people from the previous thread. Please confirm Now. Cost is 30$ or free for the April 15th half day if you sign up for the 70$ full day later in may. You can pay at the track.
Please post up your username, real name and car you will be bringing so i can forward it to the organizers.

Questions:
1. cancellation policy (due to weather or my own schedule), 2. car I'm bringing. 1. I'd rather drive a track for the first time in the dry.
2. If I've got the 911 out by then, I'll bring that, if not I'll bring the boxster. The 911 doesn't come out until at least one if not 2 major rainstorms to wash the salt away (pre-galvanized body - salt=kryptonite) so I'm at the mercy of the weather. The way things are looking I'd say it'll probably be out, but can't say for sure.
3. Safety equipment: I'll bring my helmet, but do we need bolted-in fire extinguishers? (I don't have one mounted in the boxster). What about a formal tech inspection?
Anyway, count me in. Even if it's pouring f#$king rain and I don't want to drive, I'd rather reserve a spot, cause I'll probably come.

edit: I'll most likely be in for the May day as well. Is there a date for that yet? May 5/6 is UCR at Mosport, May 13 is mom's day, 20th Dunnville is booked (Raven) and 27th is a lapping day at TMP.

salt: i hate it too....damn that snow!
saftey equipment: bring a helmet..its pretty lax....just don't have stuff falling off your car and you're good to go.
rain: chris..if its raining hard and you still end up comming..we can take the bullit around the track...hell its faster than most of the 4WD's out there even in rain

Oh, yeah, I guess if it's pay-at-the-track if I don't show it's no cost. Just don't want to reserve a spot in my name and not show up.
So switching cars is ok? Cool. I like to have different people come out with me for feedback.

I am going to try and bring a 944 Turbo... not exactly sure what car I am going to bring... not really sure if I can show up either, but I am going to try!!! The other car choice is a 924S SP2 racer...
My friend who has a tonne of race and track experience (like 25+ years) might come along as well... If you are interested I am sure he would be willing to instruct a few people as well. (He is not one of those PCA instructors) I will keep you posted.

Hey Omar, almost forgot - my dad wants to come to (Paul).
Are there instructors available? Or at least someone to take me for a couple laps to get a feel for the track at first?

last time i was at dunnville i set the production car lap record in my GT3 1:14.1 and went 1:12 in my first try in the formula renaults he has there.
i will try to make this event in a new car that should go faster...not sure if the time still holds up...and no i wont tell you what car im bringing. track owner lee abramson is a nice guy

I'll be bringing up lucas scarfone as well so he can take some professional pics of the cars in action.
