Question Looking For A New Mechanic

I'm looking for a shop that can maintain my 80 SC. I am leaning towards Refined Motorsports, main reason being that it's close to home. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Henry @ REFINED MOTORSPORTS does my regular maintenance and I have been very happy with him. He is very knowledgeable, does not charge billions and let you bring your parts if you want ( I am just about to have him replace my clutch/flywheel and will get the parts from the US). Plus he is located within walking distance from my office.
For more involving work (such as suspension upgrade), I strongly recommend AUTOWERKS in Woodbridge. Courtney and Domenic are a delight to deal with!
Good luck

brian,

your location would definitly help with a recommendation. Courtney's team at EU autowerks are definitly top notch mechanics.

Jack @ G-TEK is also very good and his expertise with older porsches runs very deep.

havn't worked with refined, but AM993's car is in good shape so I doublt they're butchers

Henry used to work on my 993tt while he was at dfc. his work was very good. I would also recommend Ernie at Mantis in oakville and Courtney at Autowerks in woodbridge.

Adriana Lima - Victoria's Secret Model.

Check the "I'd Hit It" thread. I posted a few pics of her last weekend.

Thanks for the input. I'm located in the Royal York-Lakeshore area. I am 15 minutes from Refined and 5 minutes from Leny's. Autowerks is doable if I take my car to work.
My car comes out of the body shop in the next month or so I will post the mandatory post pics .

Henry at Refined knows his stuff and knows the SC very well... I don't think you could go wrong taking your car there...

The only other shop here mentioned that I would feel comfortable taking my car to is EuAutoWerks.

have fun...

Courtney and Domenic are the most amazing guys I met in a long time when it comes to mechanics. For the first time I met proffessionals that they knew there stuff AND were not out there to rip me off. Servicing these sirens is always an expensive proposition, having the right team on your side is simply priceless. Thanks for the ride Courtney...

I've heard plenty good and nothing bad about any of the places listed here and would take any of my cars to any of them if it weren't for location. I use Mantis because they're close and they know my car by now.
