if the car is mint and you really like the car, i would pay no more than CAD48K taxes/duty in.

Hard to say. Not a big fan of the nose on it and it might make it a tough sell. Porsche enthusiasts will tend to pay a premium for "unmolested" cars. 40K CAD maybe?...but including all taxes, shipping, etc...

Looks neat - but tough to appraise since it is a unique example - $35K? - certainly more fun than a Miata.

Yeah, exactly... you cant compare it against similar cars. It is currently at a dealership and they say it originally cost 380,000DM, which I believe would have been about $260,000cdn.
Thanks for all the answers guys.

It has a 944 turbo nose on it!! I believe only the person that owns this car would think it has any extra value...

I dunno...

I am not sure how much this one would be worth, but just to give you a comparison with what a nice slant nose is worth around here, check out this thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...ferrerid=37503

Haha... no, its not a 944 nose. It is a Rinspeed modified front end... Rinspeed is a Porsche tuner from Switzerland. They had several models with a similar front end. Here is a picture of the Rinspeed R59, and a picture of the R89 for comparison.

If this car was built for the 84 Geneva auto show, how come it has mirrors 10 years younger and rockers 12 years younger then the rest of the car?? Sorry but this is a re-sculpted 951 bumper, the lines don't even match the front fender.

It's worth what ever you're willing to spend and no more.
