Definitely for me I just prefer the older car, I know it is not as technologically advanced and I don't think anyone is saying it is. Something doesn't have to be the best to be the most desireable.. it just has to stike an emotional nerve..

A thing worth what people are willing to pay for it... period.
The oldest law in business, supply & demand. There is a lot of reasons (valid or not) why people likes the 993 (like me...) Some are "emotion related" and cant be judge that easily... This is probably why the Cudas, the Daytonas, the Cobras, the ... are selling for these prices.
Everybody would drive Z06s if it was that simple.

I stated that the 993 is a better car than the 996 IMHO and that of the marketplace. I was not referring to the 997..........and right now the marketplace is making a pretty clear statement about the 996.
AFAIK the 997, since you brought it up, may be a better car.......but as perception rules the day in the car market and manufacturer's stats do not........I, as a reseller of chariots, has to side with the marketplace to stay in business. Time will tell with the 997.......and except for production numbers, I think it's a far better car than the 996.
But......FWIW......if I was offered a 997 C4S today or a 993 C4S I would take the 993........I just "like" it better........which makes it a better car to "me". Does that make sense ?
Anyways.......if you really look like Borat the world as we know it is truly ending.......LOL !!! I want to go and see that movie ASAP.......the reviews I saw had me busting a gut !!

Agreed too... 996 and 997 are faster and better... but I like my 993 more. I'm an emotional guy
