Burning Brakes
Ocean Blue 1st gen 996 Cab Richmond Hill
When: Today, 20 minutes ago
Where: 50 High Tech road (Traffic/Courts building), Yonge/Hwy7
What: TF?!
I walk out of the building, and hear the engine rev intro to Van Halen "Panama",
cranked to 7 or 8. Then he pulls out of his parking spot and stops in view
of the people watching from the building entrance.
He then proceeds to turn it up, light a cigarette, rev his engine, then
carve his way to the exit, passing MOVING cars in the lot like they were pilons.
The people witnessing it were just sort of shaking their heads, some
saying what a goof, others laughing at the effort. In that 30 second
vignette he pretty much checkmarked quite a few ugly stereotypes.
It was pretty embarrassing to watch, I'll tell you that much!

8:20 this am saw a sy cayman heading up 57 towards the track. 3 mins behind was Seal grey (i think) Boxster (nice colour). 9:15 saw a Guards red cayman heading the same direction up 57.
I hope the track doesn't get too wet as it's raining now.
Here I was mucking horse stalls and other folks are having fun...

Was in London Wed. and Thurs. this week, yesterday spotted a white R8 parked out from of the hotel on Pall Mall at Richmond, had seen him driving on Richmond earlier in the day. Damn, those are beautiful.
