Hi Bill, getting an idea of 'shark ' owners here. Smalll community of 928 owners in Canada unlike the USA.
They have 928 gatherings: Frenzy, SITM,SITP and many more. Have you attended any lately? I missed the 'HELL" gathering in Michigan but next year I plan to attend at least one event.
My plan is organize an event in the local area, are you in?

Iceman,
Well what happened was that one of the injectors failed (failed to a shut position) but since it failed slowly, that single cylinder probably ran lean under boost for a while and ended up blowing the head gasket. I’ve pulled the heads on this car before so it’s just a matter of making time for it. The cost for parts will be minimal (as long as it’s only the head gasket that blew).
At the moment I have so many other car projects on the go that the 928 haven’t been taken apart yet. I’m hoping that in a week or two, I can start working on it. Unfortunately this might push the completion time past the end of this year’s driving season.
Michael,
The annual fall Toronto 928 gather is coming up fast. Its always in September (usually the second half). The Shark-Attack yahoo group site should have updates. I don’t know if there is one being organized this year since I haven’t been on that site in months. However, if you organize one in the Hamilton area I would be interested in meeting everyone.

Hello Mike......sorry for the delay in posting I was down in London the last few days with no laptop. Yes, I attended the 928 Fresh Water Frenzy in Hell Michigan and had a blast. There are a great bunch of owners down there with a vast knowledge base. Real good people. Let me know what you have in mind Mike and maybe I can help............Bill
