Just thought I'd make it official. Since the parking lot at Stavebank wasn't all that great, on Jumper's suggestion will try it at the Chapter's/Starbucks across from Sherway Gardens on the Queensway between Hwy 427 and The West Mall. Plenty of free parking, $5 coffee and Porsche magazines!

 

Yeah, like TOTAL 911... I am in, see you tomorrow!

Well next time edi1, though I am at the track next weekend and will be on vacation for 2 weeks after that so won't be able to make it to a meet until Aug 12

 

Ok then let's make it official: Every Saturday at 10:00 am this location for an informal get together. I realize that with vacations, track days, etc... it won't be possible for everyone to show up all the time, but the idea is that you can pop by for 2 minutes or 2 hours. Coffee, mags all available and if those present decide to go for a drive or lunch, we can take off from there. FYI: we gathered in the parking lot behind the Chapter's/Starbucks; less visible from the street, but also less possiblities of clapped out minivans/SUVs/pickups and other assorted POS's sidding up to your car.

Yeah, my brother sure enjoyed that morning...quite a bit more maturity than he's encountered with some of the M3 (his ride) guys and yet more "young at heart" than the MB crowd he hangs with sometimes(he also has an '88 SL560). His knowledge of the auto design industry is invaluable and there are always some interesting anecdotes to his stories. I'll pass your sentiments along to him and the next time he's up, we can plan something.
