Ok guys, the sun is shining and the weather is good. Anyone up for a meet on saturday april 15th?

I was thinking maybe a gettoghether at erindale park, and then we could all cruise down to the Marche around Bayview/YorkMills later in the evening.

This woud be weather permitting of course...since it's no fun in the rain, we'll hve to check the weather reports a few days before Saturday to see if it will still be sunny.

Hopefully more P-Cars will be out by then.

Meet will start at NOON and i will be there early to help setup.

PS: thanks Omar for expediting the E and Safety test yesterday and it was good to meet you. Got the plates with no prob after I surrendered $5K to the taxman...ugh!

 

^ no problem. It was nice meeting you. P-Car's + Good Weather = awsome. i spent the next half an hr or so fiddling with some OBDII software and making some "dyno runs" and 1/4 mile tests haha

Funny you should say that, I knew of one of those that had a Porsche Turbo motor in it, IT WAS FAST, it was copper, you ever see it?

 

negative. i saw videos of a Split window camper with a porsche engine in it in the last Gumball Rally. Broke down in every country because of cooling issues.


I really really want to do up a spacey people mover like an old bug. carpeting, bench seats, tv's dvd, neon's , the works. i can't think of anything newer that will match the VW bus's versitile space tho. maybe some of those japanese cube shaped cars but i can't import em.

 

I'll attempt - - P car may be at Leny's for new rubber and alignment -has to be shipped from Picton as no service nearby. Anyone have an alternative shop that does their own alignments.
No problem with Lenys - just lookin for less expensive but reliable service - tall order.
