Insurance goes back on April 1st. but the tires I want will not be available for 2 months (current tires corded)... Will have to see if I can get them from the US...

BTW, you Calgary guys be careful out there, it's still slippery especially in the mornings...This morning on my way into work I saw a 993 on 25th Ave SE that appeared to have lost traction and hit the curb really badly ....Hope is wasn't someone here...

I heard 10 to 20 cms of snow Saturday night...my p-car won't be hitting the streets anytime soon!

I've decided that I'll probably wait 'til some of the gravel is off the roads.....maybe around May 1. But I'm really itchin' to get behind the wheel again!

I was out today for the first time in my just arrived p-car after I picked it up at the railyards in Scarboro. Weather is not the greatest today with rain and wet snow but it's still an awesome car and I'll be driving it all afternoon! It's filthy dirty already, but that gives me something to do when it does clear up.

I see that everyone is eager to take their p-car out! I wish I could have taken mine out today as it is turning out to be a beautiful day in Ottawa. Saw a couple of modded chevy cavalier's and mustangs! I guess it's a good sign.

I’ve completed most of the major work on my car. She should be back on the road on Monday the 27th.

They are cleaning the roads up in Montreal, but there are still a few bad cracks and holes here and there. I'll have to be careful for a while to come.

been on out the road for a couple of weeks now.
the problem is now finding the time to drive the damned thing! between doing pads, rotors, oil changes and tune ups on other rides comming out of hibernation, exams, and what not, there arn't enuff hours in a day.

(begins complicated plan to steal all of the US's nukes and convert the materials into a giant rocket booster to push the earth slightly away from the sun so he has an extra 4 hrs a day to drive around....)

Today was the perfect day to wash the car and go for a long drive: sunny and +9. It's supposed to get up to 17c by Thursday. So get them out!

I dont wait all winter , I drive mine, I can not stomach spending the money and leaving in the garage. Why would I keep it perfect..for the next guy? Forget that. I see it as an investment in my happiness...Drive it and who cares dirt on the road come on now.

I had a bottom up engine rebuild this winter, so I'm itching to give my 964 a test drive. My mechanic also stores it for me, so the last time I saw my car, the engine was on the shop floor. April 3rd, I pick it up.
