PierreTT.

That is the cream of the crop price for a TT. Super low mileage car. You can find many 10k cheaper with 30k miles on the dial.

A mint low mileage 993TT with a clean history will sell for about 75K$ USD. Convert this at a 1.16 exchange rate and you end up paying 87,000$. Add the damn 6.1% for customs and your car is now 92,307$. It is about 5K$ cheaper than a realisticly priced Canadian car...

BUT, when reselling the car, it will be tougher to get the same price for your car. There is no real reason for that but people are suspicious about US cars (wreck, flood, ...). You will probably get 5K$ less if your are selling a US 993TT compare to a Canadian one now...

The real lost is the usage of this 5K$ during the period you own the car...

There is a lot more choice and supply on the other side of the border. This is the real reason why we should shop there to me.

My 2cents anyway...

Take a look at this. 993TT

A bit too cheap, but obviously worth looking into.

Thanks folks for the lead. This car has 87,000 Miles (140,000KM) tough. I'm not saying that it is not a good purchase but this not what I’m looking for I'm trying to find a clean low mileage car that I will own and pamper for multiple years with reasonable maintenance to do and a good reselling value down the road.

Obviously I would like to find a clean, 30K miles car with clean history for less than these 95K$ premium prices... I've being searching for 4 months now and all the good deals that I've found had paint job, were involved in big accidents, had suspicious history or were on the track more than on the road...

I saw a 997S for sale at 109K$... Makes me think that these clean 993TT are effectively overpriced...

Have you tried the Mart in PCA? Mine is "formerly" a US car that was owned and pampered by a PCA member and the records are meticulous. If you can find one that was owned and cared for by another enthusiast, chances are you'll be happy. Patience is always rewarded. BTW, it took me 7 months to find the right car.

I saw some 993 Turbos in their inventory. I got my 951 from that place. There were lots of 911s on the lot and it was a really great place to deal with. I know theyre far from you, but its one more lead

I don't think the 997 Turbo will impact the 993 Turbo prices, however I do think the new GT3 might finally deflate our high re-sale values. The new GT3 is the first of the post 993 variants that tugs at my heart as strongly as the 993 Turbo does. The price delta would not be that great either if I do go for the GT3.
