I grew up in the Toronto West End (still live there). I remember attending UofT in the late eighties and there being a small unamed shop (it was actually a residential garage, now a Yoga studio!) on the north side of Harbord, just west of Bathurst.

There were always 911's parked outside for servicing. Went in there once. The gentleman was of eastern european descent (not German though). Always heard his service was excellent yet he did not even have a hoist!

Does anyone know the story behind this shop?
