Angry 911 buying rant

This is my first post but need to rant...

I'm looking for a 911 coupe, 84 to 89 vinatage. Possibly settle for an earlier SC.

DON'T WANT RED!

Found my dream car in late August 5 minutes from home on consignment. It was a 1985 Blue 911 Coupe. Everything worked! Not a scratch. Leather all intact as new.

Car was beautiful Following the advice of many, I asked to see the service history and would then follow up with PPI includeing leakdown. This was on a Thursday. I went to the cottage on Saturday figuring these cars usually sit for months.

Car was gone the Saturday!

Have not seen another coupe yet. Went to go see a 1988 silver coupe with burgundy interior. Been on the lot for 6 months, asking 4K more than the blue. 5 owners. Dealer in Mississauga claims to be a "European specialist".

Burgundy seat bolster is worn. I think they took the car through a car wash as it is neither clean or detailed. Paint is ok although many, many chips. drivers door seam with chips. And it is 4K more than my dream car!!!

Advisement on finding an 80's 911 coupe with is not red on the outside or red on the inside?

I'm thinking due to price and availability, I need to go south?

Call Randy Meyers at Whaletail (1-519-699-4911). I believe that he imported a black on black 1987 coupe from Pennsylvania this summer and should still have it. I think he wants $25k for it.
