Anyone know the latest with this track? Is it going to be open for business in 2006?

Looks promising for next spring/summer. The owners are still waiting patiently for one last official signature before proceeding with the paving which is the final step. That signature should come soon hopefully, but its now too late to pave this year...

Its going to be interesting... It will certainly reward higher horspower cars as basically all the corners that lead on to the straights are uphill. It will be a very technical track to drive overall...

As was proved this year, believe the owners at your peril. MCO counted on it being open for thier September date,as they were promised, and, of course it is still not paved.

PErsonall, I will make no plans involving Calebogie until I see pavement on the track. As fgar as I know, they do not even have the granula A down and final grade done. Given that the asphault will have to cure for at least two months, I'll be surprised if it is open next July. If it goes at all, I expect late August or September 2006 for the first event.

Having said all that, I hope I'm wrong!

I guess all the c4 models and 996 turbos could still run on it as it is now.
