Total newbie to Porsche and I'm just wondering what is considered a good deal on a car in the 997 price range. Do they tend to discount much off MSRP? Probably looking at Pfaff or Dowtown Fine Cars. Thanks.
Pfaff has more room to move on their inventory given my experience ( 5 cars ), give Jamie Taylor at Pfaff a call to get an idea, 416-213-8657, super guy

Nothing...yet. Infinii is working on a price for me, as is someone I know who is a salesman at another (non Porsche) dealership. I just sold my Z06, but likely won't get the 997S until the Spring, as I want to order it to my specifications and there is no point in it arriving in the dead of winter. I'll let you know! BTW, there is a tiny chance I might get a C6 Z06 instead, but I'm not sure I want to spend $100K on a Chevy, although the car sounds amazing from what I've read and I just love the torque of a pushrod V8. We'll see. It would be my 3rd Vette and I think it just might be time for a change.
Well, so much for waiting until spring. I found a car that has all of the options I wanted and it was just too tempting to buy it now rather than wait and order it for the spring. It's en route from the factory and should arrive within a week or so.
