Hahaha! and that's not true for your black car? Look at all the threads detailing what black car owners have to go through to get their cars clean...filtered|ionized water, air compressors, etc.

I'll be putting my Boxster in Autotrader next week. After it sells, I can start looking more serious (as if my surfing of classifieds isn't time consuming already).

Yes, Black is the worst but when it's bad, it's still black and still looks good at night. Arena looks like boring, plain burgundy when it's not finely polished.

geez, when you put it like that..I won't even waste my time looking at it.

I just realized that Porsche has *alot* of blues. I'm wondering if I should add a blue to the search.

The ones I know about are Iris Blue, Ocean Blue, Midnight Blue, Zenith Blue and Riviera Blue. Out of those, I'm not sure if I like Iris, Zenith and Riviera. I'd prefer a really dark dark blue. Haven't seen Midnight or Ocean up close yet.

OK, I know that I'm going to get flamed for stating my opinion on something as personal as color preference and I didn't mean it to sound that way. I like Arena red but only when it's clean and polished. There's a guy a few blocks from my house who has a 993 C4S in Arena red and it's always parked outside and gets driven all year round. The paint is faded and dull and that looks like big hairy ***.

Midnight and Ocean blue are fantastic colors for the 993.

Just buy a damn car already ! ! ! !

Is that 993 really arena red? that guys is down the street from me...poor car is never washed and is buried in snow all winter...so cruel..paint looks pinkish/purple now

My new 997S cab is midnight blue over sand beige ....great color combo..I need Alon to take some pics to post
