The world will face a challenging half decade ahead... I see buying opportunities on the horizon.

Stock dropped by 7% yesterday; investors are caution about even the reduced outlook.

Yeah, I think 2026 is going to be a tough year for the economy.

Agree - nay, for the planet in general.

Solution: Drive your Porsche. It's the best therapy ;0)

Porsche isn’t finding new buyers for their cars. Simple as that. VW as a group treated China has their cash cow for years and then suddenly had the tap turned off, now VW has to compete with Chinese brands on European soil

Ferrari has a higher market cap than the entire VAG.

Not going to be easy to fix this with German labour laws and a demand problem. There simply going to be huge mount more platform sharing I suspect in the future which is not great if you are a Porsche enthusiast as the whole logic of platform sharing is to cut costs; they are not likely to use the Porsche platform if a cheaper alternative can be sourced from other VAG brands. Also, the local manufacturing from BYD and others is on the way and these are highly competitive cars. Even at the high end they are setting Nürburgring records and are rumoured to be eyeing an F1 team.

As an aside, there are a bunch of Porsche re-builders like Singer, Canepa, Ruf, Emory, etc. profiting nicely.

I'm not to worried all my cars are old and not going anywhere. Porsche prices even today or last 2 years are supper expensive for what I consider over bloated luxury that have poor longevity and even then have out dated electronics.
I may end up getting a Chinese evo if they are as inexpensive as they say they are.
