3.0 litre ....

All kidding aside the simpler the cars were the better for reliability . Without dozens of sensors and high tech bits. I go year over year just changing oil.. Over the last 8 years all i have done is change the oil. Odd valve adjustment, but those old cars just keep plodding along. Only 200HP but im okay with it.

I would try to find an 991.1 S 3.8L with manual. I think that car has seen the bottom already and it's uptrend from here. 3.8 NA plus manual is a killer combo.

I know of which one you speak of. I was going to trade in my San Marino Blue F80 M3 CS for it, but unfortunately my trade in was too low. Selling it privately now.
That 991.1 C2S will hopefully go to a good home. It looked well cared for.

I pinged the rep this morning and it was sold and delivered already!

Did you get a chance to test drive it? Wanted your take on power delivery vs. your M3 CS.
I went in with great expectation for the glorious NA sound and power delivery and went away not feeling overwhelmed. I might have been spoiled by turbo power. Will be looking at 6TT or 991.2 now.

Agreed. I've driven both and the 991.2S was the sweetspot. Bigtime power when u want it!

Wow, that was quick. I was there last week Thursday to test drive and have the M3 appraised. Drove it around for roughly 30-40mins.
Whoever got it, they are one lucky individual. Mileage was high (90,000KM) but it was a single owner, all maintenance records, and very well kept. You would never think it had 90K on it.
Power delivery was linear, and truthfully not overwhelming. The NA sound was definitely there, and very engaging to drive. FWIW, I've driven a 991.1 GTS and 991.2 GT3 and power delivery felt the same, albeit the C2S obviously has lower power.
M3 CS is definitely faster accelerating, but no glorious sound. Mind you its DCT so less engaging.
I'm on the lookout for a 991.1 C2S / C4S.

90,000km 991.2 for 90k CAD is considered a deal?

Makes that 25km 996TT for 99k look like a bargain

Kind of insane 996T are priced the same as a 991.1 S or 991.2 base, and the 996T will probably need $10k of deferred maintenance done while the newer cars have warranty.

There is a 991.2 cab with 57k for about $98K on the autotrader site and another coupe sub $100k.
