Need high voltage to power that, regular cars don’t have the juice!

It would have to come with a battery pack, but it wouldn't need to be anything like a real hybrid. The one in the 992.2 is relatively small and light.

Voltage is the easy part...

imo the rear bumper on the .1 looked more seamless with the license plate frame positioned lower versus the higher position on the .2

I was reading in the 992 forum that some are suggesting 510 hp for the S and an announcement between now and January 2025.

I would say low 200s is fairly accurate, assuming it will be about 180k with the price increase, plus the 35.5k minimum in options. If you have a trade in you would only need to pay the tax on the difference in values.

That sounds so much more reasonable...

Haha yes, I see your point. Part of the motivation for pulling the trigger is that the car I wanted is now wandering into uncharted price territory.

If I had all the money back on the cars I have owned, I would spent it all on cars. Lol.

I'm not a fan of the new look 992.2 and not just saying that because I recently bought a 992.1.

The removal of historical items like turn key and the dash bezel for a more organic Porsche branded dash aren't my favorite Porsche decisions. Push button starts are on every car...doesn't mean the 911 needs it. The rear bumper looks more Panamera than 911 and I'm not a fan of the front bumper grills.

At some point Porsche will begin to price themselves into a realm where mid to high income classes just won't pay and I feel we have started to approach this level.

Very much agree on the dash... wish they continued to keep the "real" tach at least.

As for push button start... got me thinking... "Gee, wouldn't it be handy if they put some sort of slot or receptacle on the dash for your key fob?"

On the other hand, I think the exterior changes look good to me, although the differences are small in actuality and most people are not going to be able to tell the 992 generations apart. I do like how all the front lighting is now integrated into the one element.
