Default Insurance and deductible

What's everyone paying for their 911? I got multiple quotes for a 2024 911T. ~$4000 premium with $5000 deductible! Location is Toronto. One accident for the past 9 years.

With $5000 deductible, the insurance is almost of no use other than being totaled or theft.

actually i would only insure for a write-off really . so that would work for me ..

making smaller claims is pointless as they will jack your rates anyway.

$980 all in for my 993 and 997 yearly

Owning classics is fiscally prudent it seems as both are worth more than i paid for them and cheap to insure!

I would use rates.ca to do a comparison

I'm generally under $1500 but I state no business use, no commuting to work, estimate 4 or 5k km yearly, and private garage parking. Multi car and house discounts and clean record. I believe the no commuting to work is a big risk factor and money saver.

What's your deductible? Is it normal for 911 owners to have $5000 deductible???

Your rates bring tears to my eyes, and not happy ones.

I believe it's $5000 collision and $1000 comprehensive. I think $5k was the lowest they would give but that's on a GT3. It wouldn't be hard to have a relatively minor hit costing 10's of thousands and I'm not making a claim if it's under $5k anyway.

2015 911 Carrera 4 GTS heavily factory optioned - retired and not a daily driver.
Premium: $1074 / year. $2000 deductible, full coverage.
Been with them a very long time and 49 years accident and therefore claim free.
And luckily I do not live in TO.
