What is this sticker behind my front plates

Oh I'm doing just that...I'm starting with the sales person...but he's not returning my call, I did send him a picture. Carfax I got with the car is clean. I just ordered a vehicle history report from MTO to see if its been in Ontario all its life. I have the whole maintenance history printed from new but it does not say which dealer did the work, just an RO number.
Was the car only registered in Ontario?

Is there a reason why someone would take off their front plate when tracking their car?

I dug up the carfax I got when I bought the car, and it shows the same dealer since new. The maintenance record and the carfax both show in 2018 the ppf being applied by the same dealer. So I forwarded all of this information to my salesperson and see where it leads.

This always confuses me too... i think it's related to not letting insurance companies find out you're taking your car to the track but I'm not sure. I've never once seen insurance companies spying at the track, but never say never.

The car fax lists the number of owners. My guess is that a previous owner tracked the car and wanted that sticker on it. He put it on and then had the car ppf’d. Dealer might not have seen it when he sold you the car if it was under the PPF and behind the plate. You owned the car for 2 years and never noticed it. There would be no reason for a dealer to remove the front plate mount when doing the CPO inspection.

those who don't want to attract undue attention by the police, get a ticket and yet another reason to be pulled over...
People remove plates at the track because they dont want social media and photographers showing their car at the track for insurance companies to notice.

I know why we don't run rear plates at track, no front plate is a non-issue for many of us on street...
