If you’re on the island anyway you might like hwy 28 Campbell River to Gold River, 92 kms. Pretty well deserted mid day as the town of Gold River was dismantled years ago and now theres only a pier and a water Taxi drops off forestry workers. So early and late traffic then nothing except twisties on a nice paved road going over the spine of the island.
