Desk job may not have changed much. I have employees that work heavy labor jobs and they were in better shape than I was working behind a desk.

Sitting is the new smoking

I hope they install a ceramic knee so i can still pass through the checkpoints at the airport without a search , don’t want to have to explain

All the best brother on the knee.

PS If the metal plate in your noggin passes TSA, you'll be fine.

My father had both hips done 30 years ago. He's still walking without a cane at 93. He's quite active, exercises an hour every day. Has not needed any revisions

My surgeon said that the part of the hip that breaks in old people (femur neck) becomes titanium.

Thank you Matt
That’s the main reason i haven’t raced the SP2 at Tremblant and at the VARAC events , my 911 has been in storage in the race trailer also
since my accident and from what i understand my right knee will be next and keep me out of commission for another year.
Miss you guys , give Nat a nice hug for me !

Cheers
Phil

I had my hip replaced in 2003. It is currently well past its expiry date.

I was 35 and had suffered with a bad hip since age 14. It has been flawless. 20 years into it, I continue to be pain free. I have a fairly active lifestyle. although I find less active as I'm getting older, unrelated to the hip. Only thing my doctor recommended was to avoid activities that could cause trauma so I have never water or snow skiied, skated or played hockey since replacement. Besides that, I do everything else including a bunch of stupid stuff like falling off the ladder this year putting up the xmas lights lol.

St. Joe's Toronto, Dr. Vincent. And, he had done 800 hips by the time he did mine. Mine was the worst he had ever seen!

PM me if you want to discuss.
