No angle necessary, again the ride height is not an issue, this contrasts with Ferrari and McLaren where FAL is absolutely necessary. I also have FAL on my Taycan and rarely use it.

I have it on my 992 and I'm in Toronto. I use it on my property since I have a pretty steep approach. Approaching the speed bumps around the city I have never needed them. The underground parking lots in the city...absolutely I have needed them and I do use FAL when necessary.

I would get it. My 19 gts has it and I still managed to mess up that front lip.

Ditto. I am astonished by the number of gas stations with incredibly steep ramps, even in Toronto (e.g., the Lawrence Avenue entrance/exit of the Petro Canada station at Marlee).

Short answer is yes. I scrape my 997T going up and down ramps and driveways all over the city.
