Splash Bros!

No one else. They have lots of five star ratings. I have no affiliation with them other than they have always been goo to me.

just got some body plugs to cover 3/8" holes.... contemplating drilling a few spots to get better access to the seams in the rear wheel wells...

I have avoided drilling and using plugs since first using Krown (or any product) in 1990, 5 cars later.

There are so many access holes with rubber plugs in them and others without plugs in place, rocker panels after removing the plugs from the factory holes already in place underneath, the plugs where the wiring goes into doors and lower A and B pillars, access once the trunk is open, through rear speakers once they are removed.

Every car is slightly different, but I never needed to drill holes and my cars got the full treatment.

Interesting. Curious, Krown charges ... at least based on their website ... $130 or so? Do they simply not do as good of a job which is why you'd DIY? Contemplating a DIY, but not overly interested in taking the wheels off (have a 4 post lift vs 2 post)..

Not in my case. I DIY simply because there is no need for anybody to drill holes. Plus I do not need to make an appointment. Plus it is cheaper.

Yes and they use those plastic plugs showns further up in this thread.

A very long time ago, I'd wear my mechanics overalls and step into the bay with them removing the factory rubber plugs in the car. As he sprayed Krown, I'd reinsert them as he went along.

But since 2000, I have been doing it myself and that car is still on the road in better shape than any 8 year old car.

it was about a 5hr job for me to do that car. About 100 fasteners to remove to remove all the undercovering and wheel liners..

i don't think you'll get that with a $130 job.

sorry, no.

just take it to either krown, or other reputable spot. I've heard good things about Corrosion free. The YouTubes loves fluid film and surface shield. I used corrosion free, but dont have long term data on how it will hold up. I ended up getting another gallon of it as they had the best price on a new underspray gun (my old one blew a seal, and I haven't been able to figure out how to replace or fix it).

How old's the car? and how long do you wanna keep it?

(edit. you have a 4 post lift, you could probably do a decent job with just that).

Car is a 2020 but picked it up recently with only 3500km.

Plan to keep it a long while.

I used to rust proof my own car for 20 years. Honestly, between spending $50 on rust proofing stuff, I would just rather pay an extra hundred bucks for them to make the mess. Also, when I did my own car, lots of people would invite themselves to get their car rustproofed.
