Now we have a Le Mans 24 special edition to add to the numerous others we have seen recently .Obviously there is a market but it seems as if there is no particular driving advantage other than manufactured rarity.......

lol...the truly rare cars are now base vehicles. $300k+ 992s? There are currently 44 used 992s priced at $300k and up on Porsche.ca, and that doesn't include any of the "special" editions that often don't even get listed. By contrast, there are a total of 8 base C2s and C4s listed, and another 14 base Cabs/Targas/Ts, etc. In S spec, there are 60 cars listed.

Keep in mind this one is France market only. So maybe not as bad.
