I can suggest Au Comptoir in Kitsilano. Excellent spot and everyone is Parisan. We spoke in French and they nearly didn’t let us leave! Au Comptoir

the beach is sorta interesting too. If you can do a sight seeing flight with Harbour Air.


as for Gastown. Well one of our favourite spots burned down a few months ago. Also it goes from Trendy to utter crap without warning. Unless you enjoy people smoking crack.

I would recommend a SeaBus trip to the NorthShore.
The ShipYards (next to the SeaBus Terminal) is a happening place.
