Default Front license plate position

Who thinks the Leafs can make it past the first round after all the action?

More seriously, I've got a Panamera 4 Platinum Edition arriving in April. Has anyone mounted a plate off center for the front or even purchased an adhesive plate? I'm curious on thoughts if you have done these and if they are holding up. I plan to daily this thing for the warmer months.

Thanks

try the rennline license plate mount, it goes in the toe hook hole. Sticker usually works and has no hassle but is technically against the law.

Pfaff has a quick release option that does not drill into your bumper. Anything that is off centre looks terrible IMO.

No front license for me, driving Taycan for 2 years as daily driver, pulled over once by a rookie cop for it, got away with a warning. Front license plate stupid because you can't see it at night, when most crimes happen anyway.

Out of curiosity why the desire to mount it off center?

No real desire. Just want to educate myself on different options. An off center plate could make it more unique. But it could cause other problems with the radar sensors up front as well...

I think any front plastic license bracket works with 3m tape. All tesla front license bracket is mounted this way. My tesla has no issues with it.

my GT4 has RHO towhook mount(off centered) which works well too.

For a daily driver sedan or SUV just use the standard mounting bracket. Looks best and not worth the hassle dropping it down to clear parking sensors.

I have one of the RHO brackets that screws in to the off-centre towing eye.
https://www.rho-plate.com/

Very good, very sturdy. Designed to clear the parking sensors, and the exact position is adjustable. Happy with it, recommended.

I use the tow hook receptacle for a mount on my 911. I couldn’t bear to drill into the bumper when I moved to B.C. from AB.

It’s a common solution in California where a front plate is required. Not sure if the Panamera has the same setup…. A little googling should help you find a mount.

I agree, but I'm picking up my new car today, and it has one. There are no holes drilled in the center, and I don't know if there is a cap for the tow hook - so I may keep it that way for a bit...

I used the Carbonio no drill front plate, pretty happy with it. Barely blocks the top half of the front camera, but still functional.
