IMHO, best buy on the market is early 986, really fun, cheap to own, underpriced vs everything...wait til P car market goes south and 'upgrade'

Yeah I think most of us are all waiting to take advantage of that when the price comes down more.

I like the new design. We’ll see how they drive, the weight, range, and thermals.
Looks like the pic I posted with added black camouflage. Still a pass for me.

If prices went down it ain’t on the 997.2 generation or I missed an episode. I think early 991.1 are taking a little hit but apart form that everything since 1970s seems to command insane inflated prices. Can’t wait for the real and upcoming recession to hit those who have a 7-8% interest rate on their unnecessary toy…and mortgage on their cottage to renew. And one on their house too. I mean no disrespect, just tongue and cheek of a (“poor” but all cash) prospective buyer

Yes I heard RSC motors buys a lot from Japan and import them over to Canada. But their pricing are quite high vs Porsche dealership. Maybe should look into importing one from Japan one day but will definitely need some guidance in how to do that.
My car came in from RSC (Japan car), and so did my friends car (both are 1991 964 Turbos). I'd get another car from Ray in a heartbeat. I was just at his warehouse and he's got a slew of sweet cars.

I think the challenge here is he doesn't really bring in P cars that are in the $140-160 range (at last that I recall seeing). He'll bring in things like 996/997 GT3 / GT3RS, 964 Carrera RS etc.

But if there is something specific you are looking for contact him and tell him what you are looking for. That's how we got our Turbos.

I love this although not a Porsche and as mentioned you also need a driver.

Semi-related but my brother picked up a used Bentley Continental GT Speed a while back for around $70k and it is an amazing cruiser. Seems like a lot of car for the money too.

Ed99 you didn't specify if manual or auto was your preference but based on the options you listed, a 6-speed 997 twin is money in the bank. The market has cooled a little on them, but those cars will only go up in the future. Not to mention that they're fantastic cars. In my opinion they're peak Turbo, granted I am a little bit of a manual diehard so I have some bias.

I only mention it because as a life-long Porsche enthusiast I can't imagine paying current asking prices. That $160K doesn't get me what I think is worth the money. That said, if the market stays high and I could get a 997.2GT3 again for $160K I'd be OK with that.

Conti GT Speed and Supersports are massively under-valued relative to other cars from other brands. Expensive to maintain but what isn't...

3 Pedals most definite.

Kudos to you sir for supporting the cause! Well then I support my original answer and would like to add that if you plan on doing a lot of daily driving with the car, as great as a similar GT3 is the 997TT is a far more comfortable car to live with on a regular basis.

Agree the Turbo is more comfortable and more a daily vs the GT3.

There was a 2007 Black manual TT in Vancouver and I called in and unfortunately there was a $9500 accident damage on it. Otherwise, I would have look into the car more.

When spending that kind of money, I want to find one that is clean with no accidents.

Would you know the cars that they bring in from Japan, do RSC recondition the car before they sell it to you?
