I’m Canadian based too and have run into the same issue. While there is some stuff I haven’t been able to find locally, for the majority of parts using local Canadian sites (Parts Avatar.ça and Germanparts.ça) I’ve been able to get virtually everything and it only worked out to be about $5 more after the exchange rate. And no messing around with duty/ brokerage fees etc
