Default WTB Toyo R888R

Looking for Toyo R888R or R888 for a 992 Turbo S, in Canada.

My guy says no stock. Anyone got any leads on some perhaps ?

Front: 255/35R20, rear: 315/30R21

According to the Toyo website neither tire is available in those sizes.

Also, I would like to hear more about your plan to put R888's on a Turbo S and what the use case is... assume tracking which should be fun!

I guess Cup2s will have to do.

Drag racing. Just ordered the full package from M engineering and full race exhaust from Soul. Aiming for 800-900whp. I have a couple coyote mustangs to dangle with.

I would like to take it on a road course as well, but would have to tune it down for that.

This is going to be an expensive hobby for you. $3K+ for a set of tires, and no easy way to go down in size due to the huge ceramic brakes.

Nitto NT01 is a good substitute.

Nitto is owned by Toyo. The R888R had odd wear patterns with track use and myself and three others I know experienced failures (internal belt shifts) prematurely. NT01 have held up well for me through the few sets.

Awesome. The 992 Turbo S is quite potent right out of the box so interested to see what you're able to achieve with some mods. Post up video of your runs when you can.

Thanks, I will look if they have sizing!

EDIT: Looks like they don't make a 21 inch for the rear

Wont be here for a bit. Doing Euro Delivery in middle of April. The exhaust is being made (Soul catless). I have most of the other parts now, intercooler, inlets, tuner, etc. Im using M Engineering.

Curious as to why you chose to go that route, M Engineering doesn’t come up often on Rennlist forums.
Please let us know when/where the drag races are happening, Canadian Rennlist crew will be there to cheer for you

Mostly for fun events. Might hit a 1/8th mile event. Nothing to serious, more picking on buddies and vis versa.

M Engineering holds the record for the 922 TTS platform, 9.0X at 153+mph.... They are huge into Porsche and Mac's
