Default PPF Recommendations in Edmonton?

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for PPF in Edmonton as I'm getting my new 992 4S from Porsche Centre Edmonton, but live in Calgary and don't want to risk a drive down Hwy 2 without any protective film on the vehicle especially in late winter/early spring with lots of rocks etc still on the highway. My last 991 only had PPF on the full front and rear fenders, but I'm thinking of doing the full vehicle this time around.

Take my input with a grain of salt, I don't live in Canada and haven't seen their PPF quality, however I have ordered from https://www.autoobsessed.com in the past. They sell very high end products and also do PPF.

No matter who you go with, I highly recommend going and seeing their work in person. Yes, I see that it'll be a three hour drive, but this is a big investment that you're making, so I think it's worth it. One persons definition of good is different than another persons. Also, be very explicit with what you want. Wrapped edges, minimal seams on front bumper etc. Take it from someone that has been down this road many times in the past.

Car Pretty. Ask for Jurgen. He's been working with PPF for over 20 years. He bumper to bumper fully wrapped a couple of cars for me. You can deal with auto obsessed. They are very pricey though...... You might want the car polished first anyway? Car Pretty doesn't do that.

Posh detailing.

No affiliation, but they have completed a few cars for me.

Hey fellow Calgarian!

I ordered a 992 C2S through Porsche Edmonton and they delivered it in an enclosed trailer (with side door opening so they don't ding the door) to my house last year (same as you, went with whomever could get me an allocation first) I asked nicely so they covered the $600 transport cost Delivery guy (in the pic below) even had multiple pairs of gloves that he changed - dirty pair for handling the trailer and clean pair if he was touching the car You could ship directly to the PPF shop, I chose to go to my house as it was middle of Dec and it went straight into the garage.

I can intro you to my contact at Refine Auto Salon here in town if you decide to do it in YYC, they do amazing work and have done many cars for me from basic front end coverage to full cars and custom pieces for interior piano black panels, unusually shaped panels etc.

I still have the delivery guy's card somewhere if you want to work with him directly.

Congrats and look forward to seeing you around in the spring!

PM me if you want any more details on the delivery or PPF etc.

B

To the OP. Don't forget clear film on the windshield. I had one windshield last 4 days. 10 minutes on the QE2 and it was toasted. This was in summer too.
