Curious is there some other type of 'written agreement' when you order a car from a registered dealer that is delivered at some point in the future?

Because I don't see a range of options here - I ordered the car, paid a deposit with receipt, and in my case even did a trade in (sell thru sale) late 2021 - I have a signed agreement in 2021 with the price and order details etc,

What else can one do to establish a 'written agreement'?

Anyway tick tock time is running out....

The variable is what constitutes a written agreement. Some say a deposit is not considered a written agreement. Then again, there was no other way as they have no inventory.
It's just so frustrating because nothing is clear.
Keep us posted... I would assume a deposit, with options listed and sale price, signed by you and dealer as a sales contract. What else would it be considered? Interested to see how it plays out. Good Luck OP.
