Statistically speaking multiple airliners flying into office buildings by terrorists is a low percentage of murders. Doesn't mean actual effective proper steps shouldn't be taken to prevent it.

FWIW, someone followed me home when I was in the 718 Spyder. I passed right by my house and went to the communal mail box and pretend to get mail. He passed me and waited at the end of the street. I drove around the block to try to lose him. Then saw him backtracked out of the subdivision and left. Not sure what the deal was. If he wanted to talk to me about the car, he could have done it when I was at the mailbox. I was top down with my wife. She was obviously a bit spooked.

I have had similar instances with my old Gallardo. Multiple people would follow me from town to my road. I live on a cul-de-sac so would wrap around that and go to either the community mailbox or just a pull off. A couple times it was kids wanting to race once a guy just wanted to talk cars and a handful of other times the cars would just take off.

It is a bit sketchy when people follow you home. If they want to steal the car that's fine that is why we pay for insurance but the important thing is keeping the family safe.

In a more practical sense, one of the tactics used is that they will bump into you at low speed, when you get out to see the damage they jump you. Or at least that was there case in a bunch of the car jackings around Brampton where I used to live. Generally I would suggest calling the police and staying in your vehicle in that type of situation, especially if you see 2-4 people in the car that hit you.

I figure the rise in car jackings are due to high gas prices. People got to get to see their shorties you know.
