PCCM Plus

Zookie,
The teething problems have more to do with non-MOST cars (pre 2003). The installation on the analog systems is NOT plug and play. The only issue is that if you didn't have PCM before, you'll need to have a dealer use PIWIS to code your instrument display to show turn by turn navigation; which only works with the Porsche maps and not with anything in CarPlay. Haven't done it yet because I pretty much only use Waze within CarPlay. The satellite time sync will also occasionally reset the trip odometer. There is a software update, but it hasn't made its way across the pond yet. UK dealers have been providing it for a few months now.
Overall, it's a fantastic upgrade that works very well with the Bose system in my car and took me a Saturday afternoon to install...and I had to convert from single DIN (CDR-23) to the double DIN for PCCM+.

Put simply for P-Cars post 2003 whether Cayman, Boxsters, 911 etc ... there should be an issue and more of a plug and play that pre 2003 cars?
